DU UG Admission 2024: Delhi University Opens CSAS Portal for 71,000 UG Seats

Delhi University has launched its CSAS Portal for UG Admissions 2024. For the session of 2024-25, a total of 71,000 seats are available for students across 79 programmes and 69 colleges.

New Delhi: Delhi University has officially opened its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for undergraduate admissions for the 2024-25 academic session. With a total of 71,000 seats available across 79 programs and 69 colleges, students can now apply online for admission.

Portal Details:
The application process is now live on the official DU admissions website: admission.uod.ac.in. Prospective students are encouraged to complete their applications promptly to secure a spot.

How to Apply:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to admission.uod.ac.in.
  2. Register: Click on the registration link under Undergraduate Admissions.
  3. Enter Details: Provide necessary information such as Email ID, date of birth, and other requested details.
  4. Pay Registration Fees: Complete the payment process online.
  5. Confirmation: Take a screenshot of the successful payment message and download it for future reference.

Admission Criteria:

  • Admissions will primarily be based on scores from the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2024.
  • For specific courses, Class 12 results will also be considered.

Important Dates:

  • CUET UG 2024 began on May 15 and will conclude by May 31.
  • The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the CUET results on June 30.
  • Following the result announcement, students will need to update their CUET scores on the CSAS portal and select their preferred courses.

Statements from University Officials:
Haneet Gandhi, the Dean of Admissions at DU, highlighted the extensive range of programs available and emphasized the importance of CUET scores for the admission process. Gandhi also noted that detailed schedules and further instructions will be released post the CUET results.

This move by Delhi University aims to streamline the admission process and ensure transparency and fairness for all applicants. Students are advised to stay updated with official announcements and complete their applications timely to avoid last-minute hassles.
