Vicky Kaushal, the celebrated Bollywood actor known for his versatile performances, had an intriguing start to his career. Before gracing the silver screen with his acting prowess, Kaushal worked as an assistant director, notably on the acclaimed film “Gangs of Wasseypur.” However, a surprising revelation about his past came to light during a recent appearance on Kapil Sharma’s show, where the cast and makers of the film reminisced about their experiences.
Anurag Kashyap, the director of “Gangs of Wasseypur,” disclosed a remarkable anecdote from the film’s shoot. He revealed that they were shooting in a real location without proper permissions and stumbled upon an illegal sand mining operation controlled by the mafia. Amidst this unauthorized shoot, Kaushal found himself in a precarious situation and was arrested. However, as per Kashyap’s revelation, Kaushal’s colleague, director Shlok Sharma, managed to outdo him by landing in jail twice during the same incident.

The revelation added a fascinating layer to Kaushal’s journey in the film industry, showcasing the challenges and adventures he encountered behind the scenes. Despite this unconventional beginning, Kaushal has since risen to prominence as one of Bollywood’s most sought-after actors, garnering acclaim for his stellar performances.
