Tragic Incident: Two Paramilitary Personnel Killed, 2 Injured in Militant Attack in Manipur

Two paramilitary personnel lost their lives, and two others were injured in a militant attack in Manipur. The incident occurred in the Naransena area between midnight and 2.15 am. Justice must be served for these brave individuals.

Details of the Attack:
The armed militants targeted the CRPF personnel with indiscriminate firing from hilltops, aiming at the camp where the security forces were stationed. The militants also hurled bombs, one of which detonated inside the outpost of the CRPF’s 128 Battalion. This sudden and brutal assault left two paramilitary personnel dead and two others wounded.

Victims Identified:
The deceased were identified as CRPF sub-inspector N Sarkar and head constable Arup Saini. The injured personnel, inspector Jadav Das, and constable Aftab Hussain, suffered splinter wounds during the attack. These brave individuals were deployed to ensure the security of the IRBn camp in the Naransena area.

A senior police officer stated that a massive search operation was initiated to track down the perpetrators responsible for this heinous act.
